Snapmaker - MDF (medium-density fiberboard) is a wood material formed by the decomposition of hardwood or softwood residues in wood fibers, often in a defibrator, which combines these with wax and a resin binder and forms plates by applying high temperature and pressure. MDF is denser than plywood. It consists of separate fibers, but can be used as building material, similar to plywood. It is stronger and much denser than normal chipboard. Grain and colour may vary from sheet to sheet.
