eASA filament, 1.75mm, Black, 1kg/spool
With similarity in structure, eASA has excellent mechanical physical properties as engineering plastics. Because the butadiene with a double bond is replaced, eASA is given outstanding weather resistance, high-temperature resistance, and anti-UV performance. At the same time, it works as an anti-static material that helps to gather less dust on the surface.
Tips provided to achieve good ASA Printing:
1. Preferred Printing temperature is 220-260 ºC and hot bed temperature is 90-110ºC (required)
2. With printing difficulty, turn off the cooling fan and print at slow printing speed between 20-35mm/s. Bowden feeding is totally all right.
3. Good first layer: minimize the gap between the nozzle tip and hotbed as closely as possible and print on masking tape/ PEI sheet/glass bed with PVC glue/slurry/hair spray or another feasible agent.
ASA filament (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is known as a perfect all-purpose 3D printing thermoplastic, suitable for various applications. It has a similar chemical makeup to ABS plastic but provides three improvements:Excellent mechanical properties, Superior aesthetics, UV resistance, ASA material also comes in many colours, more than any other FDM material.
Highlights:
- Odorless and little shrinkage rate;
- Hydrophobicity (Will not absorb water and as such clog the extruders);
- Outstanding toughness and high-impact strength;
- Good liquidity (flows smoothly);
- High mechanical strength and excellent flexibility;
- High transparency and Good gloss
